Founder & CEO
Angela Shelton, owner and operator of AST Exclusive Events Services, is a proud New Orleans native with deep roots in the city and a lifelong connection to its culture, music, and celebrations. Her passion for business and planned events is grounded in both local tradition and industry-level expertise.
With over two decades of family experience in entertainment and event services, Angela brings a hands-on, detail-driven approach to every project. Much of her industry knowledge was shaped through close exposure to internationally known musician and entrepreneur Jeff Tyson, former husband and founder of the JT Ka-nection Band and owner of JT Sound and Lighting. Through this experience, Angela gained firsthand insight into high-level production, live entertainment logistics, and the operational side of running a successful sound and lighting business.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends, festivals, and peak event seasons. Some dates book months in advance.
Yes. A signed agreement and 50% deposit are required to secure your event date. Final payment details will be outlined in your contract.
Yes. Our team handles professional setup and breakdown for all rentals, equipment, and entertainment services.
Absolutely. We proudly serve Southeast Louisiana and the Gulf Coast Region. Travel fees apply depending on travel distance.
Yes. We offer discounted custom packages when multiple services are booked together. Contact an associate for details.
Staffing options are available for select services including beverage box operations, photo booth attendants, and AV support.
Additional time may be added based on availability and will be billed at $125/hour or the agreed upon hourly rate.
